Download Jianying APK — Official & Safe

Jianying is a free app, and ByteDance gives it away in exactly one place online: its official site, jianying.com. Use the download button on this page and you'll land there. Pick the Android version, and the official installer — about 400 MB — comes straight from ByteDance.

Why the button goes to jianying.com

Jianying isn't on Google Play. ByteDance built it for China, where Play doesn't operate, so the company distributes the app itself. That one fact explains most of the sketchy pages you'll find elsewhere: any site offering its own "direct Jianying APK download" got that file from somewhere, and you have no way to check what else is bundled inside it.

The official site is simple. It's mostly in Chinese, but you don't need to read it — look for the phone icon or the Android download button on the homepage and tap it.

Installing what you downloaded

1. Download the installer from jianying.com over Wi-Fi. It's a big file.
2. Tap the finished download. Android will ask permission to install from your browser — allow it for this one install.
3. Open Jianying. You can edit right away; no account is needed for the core editor.
4. When an update ships, the app or the official site will offer the new build. Update from the same official source, never from a mirror.

Three safety checks before you install anything

• Check the package name. The real Jianying is com.lemon.lv. If an installer claims to be Jianying with a different package, delete it.
• Skip anything labelled "mod", "pro", or "unlocked". ByteDance doesn't make those. There is no official Jianying mod APK, full stop.
• Watch the permissions. A video editor asking for your contacts or text messages is the wrong file.

On iPhone, Windows, or Mac?

The same official site carries the desktop builds for Windows and macOS — look for the 剪映专业版 (professional edition) download. On iPhone, Jianying sits in the Chinese App Store; most international users find it easier to install CapCut, the global version of the same editor, from their local App Store or from capcut.com.

Can't use the official site?

If jianying.com is blocked on your network, don't fall back to a random mirror. Get CapCut instead — it's the same editor from the same company, it's on Google Play, and it speaks your language. Our comparison of the two apps shows exactly what you'd gain and lose.
