This page explains, in plain language, what information this website collects when you visit, what we do with it, and the choices you have. It covers this site only — the Jianying and CapCut apps have their own privacy policies, published by ByteDance on jianying.com and capcut.com.
What we collect
Reading this site doesn't require an account, and we don't ask for your name, address, or payment details. Like most websites, our servers automatically record basic technical information when pages load: your IP address, browser type, device type, and which pages you visited. We use this to keep the site running, spot errors, and understand which guides people actually read.
If you post in the community discussions, the name and message you submit are stored so your comment can be displayed. Please don't post anything private there — discussions are public.
Cookies
This site may use cookies and similar storage to remember simple preferences and to measure traffic in aggregate. Advertising partners, if ads are shown, may use their own cookies to serve and measure ads; their handling of data is covered by their own policies. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings at any time — the guides will still work.
What we don't do
We don't sell personal information. We don't run a download service, so we never see or handle any APK files you install, and nothing about your use of the Jianying app itself reaches us. Clicking a link to jianying.com or capcut.com takes you to ByteDance's sites, and from that point ByteDance's privacy policy applies, not ours.
Your choices
You can ask us what discussion data you've posted under your name, and you can ask for a comment you wrote to be removed — raise it in the discussion under the relevant page and we'll act on it. You can also browse with cookies disabled or with a private window if you prefer not to be measured at all.
